My Story
My name is Krissy, and I’m a Christian mom, an early childhood development specialist with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Studies, and a former classroom teacher. But before any of those titles, I’m simply someone who loves children—especially the ones who don’t always fit the mold.
During my years of teaching, I noticed something: some children experienced the world differently. Their energy, their sensitivities, their brilliance—these things didn’t always fit neatly into the traditional classroom expectations. As a teacher, I did my best to meet them where they were. As a mom, I learned just how personal and emotional that journey could be.
It wasn’t long before I felt God placing a deeper call on my heart: to stand in the gap for neurodivergent children and the families and educators who love them. That’s what brought me here—to this blog, this community, this ministry.
The Heart Behind the Blog
Supporting neurodivergent children is not always easy. The world can be loud, fast, and often unforgiving. But it’s also full of beauty, grace, and opportunity—if we know where to look.
I’ve seen the challenges—meltdowns, misunderstood behaviors, late-night worries, and the pressure to conform. But I’ve also seen the blessings: the deep empathy, the unmatched creativity, the little victories that feel like mountains moved.
Through this blog, I want to offer a bridge between faith and developmental science—a place where Biblical truth meets practical tools. I believe that every child is made in the image of God, and that neurodivergence is not a flaw but a part of His divine design. This is a space grounded in compassion, understanding, and the unshakable truth that God doesn’t make mistakes.

A Call to Community
This isn’t just a blog—it’s a community.
I want to hear from you. What’s your story? What are your struggles, your victories, your questions? Please feel free to leave a comment, send a message, or just say hi. Your voice matters here.
You are not alone. And you don’t have to do this alone.
Closing with Hope
Let me leave you with one of my favourite scriptures:
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”– Psalm 139:14
That verse isn’t just true for you—it’s true for your child, your student, every little one trying to find their way in this world. Their path might look different, but it’s no less God-ordained.
I pray that this blog becomes a place of hope, help, and heart. Because every child is a masterpiece of God’s design—even when the world doesn’t understand them.
Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here.
